(You can probably guess, then, that clicking the links here throws some affiliate coin my way, but – as always – I’d never send you to something I don’t stand behind fully. And I stand behind this, so fully that I’m buying one for myself. I mean, have you seen that Jennifer Louden, Cory Huff, Tara Gentile, and Jennifer Lee are all here?).

I’ll send out another little reminder on Thursday, but don’t wait for me to give you another nudge. The Multi-Passionate Must-Haves sale will be gone at midnight Thursday, so check it out now! Your creative, multi-passionate career awaits!

Thanks for reading!

P.S. If you don’t know what it means to be multi-passionate, or are unsure if you are one, take a look at this page and jump to the Q&A at the bottom of the page.

Digital interviews (interviewing on Skype, Google Hangout, GoToMeeting, etc.) are something you will definitely experience in your career journey. At the very least, digital interviews are frequently used by employers during the screening process when they are choosing which candidates to invite for the more formal, sit-down interviews. Luckily, I was provided with a copy of The Essential Digital Interview Handbook to provide some guidance. (Even though I was provided with a copy of the book at no-cost, the opinion stated is my own.)

This is an easy, informative book to read and continually reference. The author, Paul J. Bailo, covers topics that will give you an advantage over your competition such as preparation, handling technical issues, wardrobe and maybe most importantly, how to recover from the inevitable “bloopers” that will occur. He saves one of the best tips for the very last: silently wait five minutes before shutting down your computer. This gives you some time to reflect on your interview and prevent inadvertently saying something that a microphone will pick up and ruin all of your hard work!

Trust me, this is a great career book. Want your own copy? Leave a comment below letting me know your biggest career challenge right now and I will pick a winner at random.

Thanks for reading!
